Hello, I'm Cindy Chia, and I’m excited to share some of my invaluable experience in the field of mental health on here. From my multicultural background of being born and raised in Malaysia, went to college in Australia, and now practicing in the United States, I've had the privilege to learn from some of the most esteemed psychologists and therapists who have shaped my expertise since 2010.

Hello! My name is Kali Novak, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Aspire Psychological.

I am committed to helping individuals learn how to have a better relationship with themselves and others, along with their mental health. I work to create safe spaces for individuals to address the challenges they are facing or have faced. I specialize in depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, trauma, some personality disorders, and addiction.

Talking about mental health and trauma can be intimidating and challenging, but I believe laughter can help make it easier and I like to include laughter in sessions, when appropriate, along with modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), art and talk therapy. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to treating mental health because you know yourself best.

Before I pursued my career as a mental health counselor, I trained intensively in trauma focused intervention, Tibetan Buddhist yoga and meditation and worked as a Chaplain & Bereavement Facilitator at home hospice for ten years. I support people at end of life, and their loved ones, to access innate strengths and spirituality to process loss, grief, and anxiety, find meaning, and experience peace and healing.
