At Aspire Psychological, we know what it’s like to feel broken. To carry a weight so heavy, you wonder if you’ll ever feel okay again.
Maybe it’s the quiet battles you fight alone, the sleepless nights filled with worries that won’t let go, or the painful memories that haunt you no matter how hard you try to forget.
We see you.
And we’re here to help.
Since 2010, we’ve been walking alongside people just like you- people who have lost hope, who feel trapped in their own minds, who are exhausted from pretending everything is fine. We help children and adults untangle their pain, face their fears, and find a way forward. Whether it’s trauma, loss, anxiety, depression, or the scars left behind by those who should have protected you- we are here. With science-backed therapy, real compassion, and a team that refuses to give up on you, we will help you heal.
We carefully design and implement empirically validated treatments to individuals, couples, and families. Some of the therapeutic orientations that we specialize in includes Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family System (IFS), Solution-Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person Centered Therapy and others. We also offer ethical and responsible Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letter services, ensuring clients receive proper documentation while prioritizing their well-being and legal protection.
Pain doesn’t have to be permanent. You don’t have to carry it alone. If you’re struggling, if you’re tired of pretending, if you just need someone to say, “I see you, and I won’t let you go”- we’re here.
Come find your healing. Come find yourself. We are here for you.
why choose us? what sets us apart?
We don’t believe in guesswork when it comes to your pain. That’s why we partner with Blueprint, a tool that lets us track your progress in real time. We don’t just hope you’re improving- we measure it. And the numbers don’t lie: since we started using Blueprint in 2021, 89% of our clients have shown significant improvement (see graph below).
Blueprint lets us hear you even when you’re not in session. If you’re struggling, we know. If something isn’t working, we adjust. This is about you- your healing, your life.
And because we believe you deserve the best care possible, we offer this service to you completely free. Because your mental health is worth fighting for.
This illustration summarizes actual data reported on the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) collected on Blueprint at Aspire Psychological in 2021 and 2022. The PHQ-9 is a self-administered depression module. As shown here, the average baseline score (collected on the first therapy session) averages at 10.14, which indicates “moderate depression”. As treatment progresses, patients gradually reported to feel less depressed over time, but usually peaked at around the 12th session, where difficult transformations/changes started to happen that might increase overall stress and depression. However, our data reported that patients start to feel significantly better again as they learn new coping skills, find new meaning, and sticking to their recover past Week 16. At around Week 20, we start to see significant progress among patients. Their reported progress indicates that their treatment outcome is “moderately significant/effective”.
This example illustration with real data is what our clinicians utilize in our sessions. Tracking our patient’s treatment outcome is helpful for us to make sure that our patients are progressing well during treatment, or if we need to make changes/adjustments to our therapy methods and approaches. We care, because you matter!

community give back
We don’t just sit in an office and talk about mental health. We live it. We fight for it. We take it into the real world, into our communities, into the places where people need hope the most.
Our founder, Cindy Chia, gives back to our community in many ways, but especially bringing joy to the streets, turning her home into a beacon of light during Halloween and Christmas every year. In 2022, her decoration themes touched so many lives and made national news, which became a symbol of hope, drawing in families from all over the country, reminding people that even in darkness, there is still love, light and hope.
We proudly stand beside our community, supporting events like the Daybreak Dragon Boat Festival, Annual Utah Asian Festival, and various other celebrations of resilience, culture, and the beauty of coming together.
Professional Awards/recognition
The world has taken notice of the work we do. But more importantly, so have the people whose lives we’ve changed.
In partnership of Utah Business and Living Color Utah, these organizations hosted their fifth annual Living Color Awards honor the individuals and organizations who are working toward a more equitable and inclusive future for our state. Congratulations to our Founder, Cindy Chia, for being awarded as 2023 Inspirational Leader in her work with the Asian mental health advocacy in Utah!
How are you involved in changing the landscape of Utah’s business community in regard to DEI?
I have been championing the cause of mental health within the Asian demographic both within my private practice and across my social media platform. Our approach involves active philanthropic contributions alongside dedicated participation in Asian-focused occasions such as Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) annual festivals, the Daybreak Dragon Boat Festival and others. Moreover, we curate authentic and empathetic content that sheds light on the challenges faced by the AAPI community within the realm of mental health.
What do you look forward to achieving most?
I anticipate a future where the majority of the Asian populace will liberate themselves from self-imposed stigma, embracing the notion that their sons and daughters can freely pursue mental health support. Envisioning a time when we can openly communicate our challenges without apprehension of societal censure or marginalization is a compelling aspiration.

Cindy Chia (Hernandez) was awarded the Certificate of Effectiveness from ACORN in 2017 and 2018, where she had met and exceeded all of the ACORN Criteria for Effectiveness (ACE).
Most of the time, it is difficult to gauge if a patient is progressing or regressing in therapy. Therefore, Aspire Psychological takes pride in implementing effective treatment plan and measuring patient outcome by administering the empirically validated ACORN (A Collaborative Outcome Resource Network) Outcome Questionnaire at every session. The questionnaire allows us, providers, to ensure that our patients are achieving their goals in therapy.
